Financial Assistant at Arise

Arise is one of Sweden's leading independent players in renewable energy. The company manages the entire value chain – from prospecting and permitting to financing, construction, sales, and long-term management of renewable electricity production. The company operates in Sweden, Finland, Norway, the UK, and Ukraine and has a promising and growing project portfolio of more than 8,500 MW. Arise develops both wind and solar power as well as battery storage.

Currently, the company also manages about 2,000 MW of wind power in Sweden, Norway, and Finland and owns 11 of its own wind farms in southern Sweden. Arise currently has around 70 employees and is in an expansive phase. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The finance department is located in Halmstad and consists of a close-knit team of 14 people.

What the Role Offers

As a financial assistant, you will work with ongoing accounting and financial administration for several of the group's companies. You are expected to work in a structured and independent manner while being an important part of the finance department and its deadlines.

Examples of Responsibilities:

Ongoing accounting
Accounts receivable management
Bank registrations, reconciliations, and payments
Support during monthly and annual closings and annual reports for smaller companies
VAT and tax management as well as support during income tax returns
Corporate formalities

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is curious, meticulous, and wants to develop in finance. Since the role involves handling multiple companies and many deadlines, it is important that you are structured and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We would like you to have:

Experience in ongoing accounting and financial administration
Good system proficiency, experience with Xledger and Visma is a plus
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Ability to work both independently and in a team
