Arise is one of Sweden's leading independent players in renewable energy. Arise manages the entire value chain – from prospecting and permitting to financing, construction, sales, and long-term management of renewable electricity production. The company operates in Sweden, Finland, Norway, the UK, and Ukraine and has a promising and growing project portfolio of more than 7,000 MW. Arise develops both wind and solar power as well as battery storage. What the Role Offers

Arise continues to expand and is strengthening its team by hiring a new colleague initially. As an Economist, you will have overall financial responsibility for a number of externally owned companies/customers. You will act as the financial manager for each individual company and independently drive the entire finance function from start to finish. Your role includes both internal and external contacts, giving it an international flavor. You will be welcomed to Arise's positive and energetic office in Halmstad, where collaboration, openness, and variety are key values. The overall atmosphere in the company is good, with lots of laughter in the corridors and fun events happening. In addition to the more informal aspects, there are many development opportunities for individuals, and the company cares about its employees. In this case, you will start as a hired consultant with good chances of permanent employment in the future, but of course, this cannot be promised at this time.

Examples of Tasks:

• Ongoing accounting, monthly and annual financial statements including the preparation of annual reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and advising the company's owners/board
• Cash flow analyses and consolidated financial statements if applicable
• VAT and income tax returns.
• Corporate formalities and assisting the client with changing fiscal years, accounting currencies, etc.
• Participation in meetings with owners. You will act as a sounding board and secretary

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with at least a few years of experience in finance, which gives you a solid foundation for the role of qualified Economist. You are used to having an overall perspective, where you have prepared annual financial statements and reports. We view an academic background positively, but equivalent experience is equally valuable to us. Since there is international customer contact, it is important that you are proficient in both Swedish and English. You handle Excel with ease.
