The Waste Management Unit is now looking for a summer worker who is passionate about service and good customer relations and who wants to assist our waste subscribers and businesses in Kungälv.

Our purpose is to help them get answers to their questions and find positive solutions. Our operations are based on a strong customer focus, and the values of Kungälv Municipality: responsibility, participation, and trust, permeate our work.

Responsibilities

In your role as an administrator, you will be responsible for receiving and following up on cases primarily for the municipality's waste subscribers but also internally and with our contractors. The position also includes financial and administrative tasks such as invoicing customers and customer mailings. Much of the contact with customers and contractors occurs via phone and email, but a large part of the work revolves around the waste management system (EDP Future).

The role of administrator is an outward-facing position with many contact points and an opportunity to work on improving waste management in Kungälv Municipality, providing a diverse and exciting job.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone studying economics/administration/public administration at a university or college. Experience in customer service, preferably within waste management, is considered an advantage.

To thrive as an administrator, you must be self-driven and solution-oriented. You have a strong sense of responsibility, are structured, and can independently manage your work. As a person, you are outgoing, social, and enjoy interacting with others. A good attitude and a high sense of service are a given for us. You feel comfortable communicating difficult/uncomfortable decisions at times. Our workplace is characterized by continuous development work, so we expect you to be motivated, engaged, and open to change.

Since you will have a lot of contact with our citizens, it is important that you handle the Swedish language very well, both orally and in writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
