Job Mission

As a Technical Documentation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that supports Piab Group`s Product Development projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all technical documents are accurate, up to date, and aligned with Piab Group`s latest product versions and innovations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and manage technical documentation for Product Development projects.
• Maintain and update existing technical information to reflect the latest product versions.
• Develop and optimize working processes to improve documentation workflows.
• Take initiative and responsibility for delivering results while working methodically and systematically with clear priorities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to share knowledge and drive common goals.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES:

• Passion for technical writing and clear, effective communication of technical information.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvements.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• 3+ years of experience in technical documentation or as a technical writer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with electronics and electrically powered products.
• Exceptional English skills, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience working with CCMS software and/or CMS systems.
• Knowledge of PIM and DAM systems.
• Experience with CPQ software is an advantage.
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
