About the position

Svenska kraftnät has recently created a management object for IT support related to construction projects to manage the significant expansion of the transmission network. The position offers the opportunity to be involved from the start and establish the object, gather needs from the business, monitor the environment, plan, lead, and coordinate IT deliveries. As a system responsible, you will work closely with other units within the IT division, the business, and suppliers to solve problems and incidents, as well as further develop existing IT support. The focus areas for the role include acquiring and implementing model-based working methods and the interaction between projects and the receiving management, as well as introducing project tools for increased collaboration.

The position will include:

• Ensuring secure operations, incident, and problem management
• Ensuring compliance with applicable security requirements
• Responsible for the strategic planning of management activities and ensuring a clear roadmap for the systems with a focus on technical solutions in close collaboration with the business
• Planning, driving, and following up activities according to the management plan
• Transforming business needs and technical system requirements into effective IT solutions
• Driving the implementation of new standard systems
• Being a leading resource in projects and assignments aimed at larger implementations or changes in existing systems
• Maintaining and conducting necessary upgrades

The role belongs to the IT division and the unit for Construction Projects and Planning Support, which currently consists of about 25 employees. The unit supports the Network division, which has the overall responsibility for building and managing the power transmission system and its facilities. The unit is responsible for a variety of IT solutions that support construction projects.

About you

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you need to be analytical and results-oriented with good problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who is structured, meaning you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. We believe you also have good collaboration skills and are interested in keeping up to date within your area of expertise.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, we see that you are a system scientist, a civil engineer in data, or have equivalent education in IT or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:

• Current and relevant experience in IT for this role. Examples of relevant experience include working as a management leader, project/program manager, product owner, system responsible, systems specialist, or in a corresponding/similar role.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
