Backend Developer Wanted!

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Java developer at our client, you will work on developing and maintaining backend services, which means you will create and optimize systems to ensure high performance and reliability. You will also be an important part of the requirements process, where you gather requirements, design technical solutions, and document these to ensure the development of functional and efficient systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and implementing microservices that support the architecture and contribute to a scalable and flexible technical platform.

An important part of your role will be to collaborate with frontend developers to create a seamless integration between backend and frontend, as well as implementing authentication and authorization with Keycloak, OpenID Connect, and OAuth2.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has strong experience in Java (versions 17 and 21), with at least 3 years of documented experience.
• Possesses solid knowledge in Spring Boot.
• Has experience working with JSON and RESTful APIs.
• Has the ability to design and implement microservices.
• Has good communication skills and an interest in supporting the business through technical solutions.
• Has experience participating in the requirements process, including requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation.
• Can communicate professionally in English, both spoken and written.

It is a plus if you have

• Experience with RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Experience working with MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization with Keycloak, OpenID Connect, and OAuth2.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and frontend development.
• Interest in agile processes.

Knowledge can be obtained through education, experience, or self-teaching.
