For the ninth time, Scania is launching its popular I-Talent Program! The I-Talent Program at Scania is an inspiring six-month journey designed for recent IT graduates with a passion for innovation and sustainability. You will gain practical experience in a specialized IT role, access to training, and the opportunity to collaborate with teams in IT, sales, marketing, and research and development (R&D). The program not only strengthens technical skills but also develops soft skills in a supportive network – all to prepare participants to contribute to Scania's goal: to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system. RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and driven Junior DevOps Specialist focused on working at the intersection of application and infrastructure. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for managing the middleware layer, operating Oracle databases, handling infrastructure-related tasks, and working with the AWS platform. You will be an important link between application development and infrastructure, contributing to further developing and strengthening the team's DevOps capacity.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting and maintaining existing legacy systems during a transition period.
• Actively participating in the development of a new, modern target architecture based on Scania's cloud infrastructure.
• Optimizing and automating processes to create a more efficient and robust development environment.

Formal Requirements:

• Have a relevant post-secondary education for the role.
• Have a strong passion for IT, application development, and modern technology.
• Graduating in spring 2025 or have up to a maximum of 2 years of work experience when the program starts in September 2025.
• Ability to start in September 2025 and work the majority of the time from Södertälje.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, as you will communicate daily in both languages, in speech and writing.
