The Workplace

The Education Administration is the largest department in Trelleborg Municipality with approximately 1,400 employees and is responsible for preschool, primary school, secondary school, and adapted primary and secondary school.

At Söderslättsgymnasiet, we have 10 national programs as well as introductory programs and adapted secondary school. We offer a modern secondary school, and we want students to develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and a desire to seek and absorb new knowledge. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who works or wants to work in an adapted secondary school. With us, you are part of a team where we all work together to develop and stimulate students' learning. We see all time in school as an opportunity for learning. We work closely together and view all tasks within the organization as equally important.

As a teacher in an adapted secondary school, you will teach students who need individual support and adjustments. Our students are taught in both smaller and larger groups, and the teaching is planned based on the students' needs. You will work alongside experienced teachers and resource educators with high competence. With us, you need to constantly be ready to find new ways, and you need to have a flexible approach as conditions can change rapidly. We are constantly working on adjustments to ensure that the school day works for each individual student.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with broad subject competence in grades 4-6, preferably with a special education degree. You need to have at least one year of experience teaching students in need of special support. Experience teaching in adapted primary or secondary school is an advantage.

• You are a secure person who sets structure and boundaries with both heart and mind.
• You have a strong commitment and a desire to create good educational learning environments for this student category.
• You plan and organize your teaching based on each student's conditions to create motivation, interest, and engagement.
• Of course, you have a good ability to communicate and build good relationships with students and guardians, and you can collaborate with other staff at the school.

Working Hours/Duration

Temporary position 100% during the autumn semester of 2025 with a possible extension.
