At Baldersskolan, with just over 430 students, you have the opportunity to work in professional and creative teams. Together with colleagues and the school's principal and two assistant principals, you will be involved in further developing Baldersskolan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our current special education teacher in mathematics is retiring, and we are now looking for her replacement. Could it be you?

At Baldersskolan, together with three other special education teachers, you will have the opportunity to remove barriers and support our students and staff in their knowledge development. As a special education teacher in mathematics, you will be part of our cross-professional and competent student health team. We strive for good collaboration where the professions of student health and teachers are given the opportunity to work together on guidance, stimulation, and other support measures.

As a special education teacher, you are an important part of Baldersskolan's development work. You support teachers in identifying and removing barriers to improve the quality of mathematics education and increase students' goal fulfillment. As a special education teacher, you will teach students, support teachers with extra adaptations and special support, and conduct assessments, analyses, and classroom observations. You will work closely with our teachers and teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Together with our teachers, you will follow up on resource allocation and monitor our students' results from teaching at both individual and group levels. As a representative of student health, you are expected to be the student's advocate and ensure the student's right to equivalent education.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics with a special education degree. Qualifications and experience in teaching English and/or Swedish are meritorious. You should be flexible, calm, and have good collaboration skills. You should also have a good ability to communicate and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are driven to provide our students with the best conditions for development and learning. You have a good ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect.

You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities. You have the ability to adapt to changing conditions. You encourage and support change initiatives. You find it easy to adjust your behavior according to the needs of others.
