About the role and your responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents.

You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching while promoting students' learning and development.

The position consists of approximately 50% teaching Spanish in grades 6-9 and approximately 50% teaching Swedish as a second language (SvA) in grades 4-6. Mentorship is included in the position.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher in Spanish for grades 6-9 and in Swedish as a second language (SvA) for grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you also have qualifications in SvA and Swedish for grades 7-9 and if you have previous teaching experience. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

You have good relational skills and find it natural to interact with students even outside the classroom. Collaboration with subject colleagues and other colleagues is a given for you, but you can also work independently and in a structured manner.

Your work includes documenting students' learning, which you should see as a natural part of your assignment. Experience with a learning platform (we use Unikum) is an advantage. Communication with students primarily takes place through Google Classroom.

Lerbäckskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 800 students in central Lund, close to Lund C. The principal area also includes Oskarskolan with about 30 students.
