ABOUT US

Our organization specifically targets children and families in need of support and treatment. The operation has been conducted since '94 under the same private management and with the same focus. The overarching goal of the organization is to give children a reasonable and fair chance to grow up under safe and favorable conditions. To achieve this goal, we offer good care and parental support in a homely and safe environment where the social services' care plans form the basis for the treatment stay.

The organization works with parenting at its core, among other things through parental education and a milieu therapeutic treatment with the children's needs in focus.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The tasks involve being a safe adult and a good reference person in a milieu therapeutic everyday life. As a family therapist, you participate in the families' daily lives, in treatment conferences, and in meetings with the client.

The tasks are performed as a group effort and you are part of the team that together drives the treatment forward.

ABOUT THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are now looking for you with adequate or ongoing post-secondary targeted education such as treatment educator, social educator, nursing assistant, preschool teacher, social worker, or similar. Experience in social work is an advantage.

The person we are looking for should have a great commitment and genuine interest in people. You enjoy working in a group but can also carry out tasks independently. You have a positive outlook, are responsible, solution-focused, and always have the best interests of the residents as the starting point in everything you do.

We place a high value on your personal and social maturity. We also look forward to male applicants.

The position requires a good ability to express oneself in speech and writing, as there is journal keeping and reporting involved.

Experience with BBIC is an advantage.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Working hours according to scheduled shifts during the day, evening, and sleeping on-call.

A driving license (B) and an extract from the police criminal record are required.

Salary according to agreement, collective agreement exists. The summer substitute position is estimated to be about 91-100%. Need for hourly substitutes year-round.

Employment period according to agreement but the greatest need is from May to August. We prioritize hiring you who can work throughout the holiday period.
