Job Responsibilities

Personal assistance is fundamentally about commitment.

A commitment to a person who needs help and support with many things in daily life that are often taken for granted.

We are now looking for 2-3 assistants for a wheelchair-bound woman in Friggesund who needs help and support with everything related to her personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers with aids, maintaining her home, shopping, training, communication, and all other activities that are part of life.

The working hours are scheduled around the clock with on-call duties as per Appendix J.

The care and support are provided based on the individual's needs, integrity, and self-determination. You have a statutory and professional responsibility for established tasks according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act).

Social documentation and medication management, as well as other medical care by delegation, are included in the assignment.

Start date can be immediate or as agreed.

Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Your Profile

We want you to be able to work independently and feel secure working alone, as the job is primarily solitary work throughout the day and night with on-call duties at night. You also need to establish a good team spirit with the workgroup you are part of, as well as the woman's family and friends.

You have a professional approach and put the user at the center. You are responsible, patient, and have good collaboration skills.

The work as a personal assistant can be physically demanding, so it is important to take care of yourself to manage the shifts, which can be challenging both physically and mentally.

We prefer that you are a straightforward, positive, and social person, who has a twinkle in your eye and a good sense of humor.

Experience working with people in vulnerable situations is an advantage but not a requirement, as personal suitability is more important.

You should have basic knowledge of using a computer and phone, as well as good Swedish in both speech and writing.

We would appreciate it if you can speak Thai.
