Treatment Pedagogue for Addiction Reception in Hälsingland

Our operations consist of addiction receptions in Söderhamn, Hudiksvall, Ljusdal, and Bollnäs, as well as a LARO reception. Together, we welcome individuals who need help managing problems related to alcohol and addictive substances, gambling disorder, and medication dependency. We also work with medication-assisted rehabilitation for individuals with opioid dependency and to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Our goal is to contribute to a healthier and longer life for our patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for staff to strengthen our team in Hälsingland, which works to provide support and treatment to individuals with substance use, gambling addiction, and medication dependency. You will work in a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and social workers placed at five receptions in Hälsingland. At the addiction reception, you will work independently based on evidence-based methods in close collaboration with doctors and interdisciplinary colleagues. We are currently in the startup phase of bringing addiction care closer to patients with more mobile working methods to enable preventive measures in places other than necessarily at the receptions.

As a treatment pedagogue with us, you will work with:

• regular collaboration with healthcare, social services, treatment homes, and employers to support patients with substance use disorder, gambling disorder, and those in need of medication tapering
• psychosocial treatment work primarily focusing on family support and relapse prevention
• telephone counseling and digital care services
• conversation methods such as motivational interviewing.

QUALIFICATIONS

You listen to both patients and colleagues, are attentive and communicative, and value constructive dialogues and feedback to strengthen collaboration. You have an interest in developing the psychosocial aspect of care with a focus on psychiatry and addiction care.

In the role of treatment pedagogue, you should have:

• treatment pedagogue education
• driver's license B.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience in psychiatric care or addiction care and training in CRAFT, MI, ÅP, CRA, A-CRA, as well as experience in meeting youth and relatives in individual and group conversations.
