JOB DESCRIPTION

OPIS (Offensive Progression in Collaboration) is a labor market project funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and operated in ten municipalities in Jönköping and Kalmar counties. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the Employment Service's and participating municipalities' ability to contribute to reducing unemployment among people who have been out of work for a long time. The project will run until December 2027. The goal of the project is to develop effective processes and a strong structure for collaboration between the Employment Service and the municipalities, focusing on the individual's resources. It is about directing towards a profession or a focus on the labor market from the beginning, rather than identifying obstacles and limitations.

The project coordinator's work includes identifying and updating participants in the project in consultation with the Employment Service, as well as finding pathways to studies and/or work together with the participants. Individual action plans should be developed together with each participant and continuously followed up. A common thread woven into the individual planning is that participants should develop their Swedish to a functional level.

The coordinator plays an important role in working with participants' motivation and development capacity. The coordinator will collaborate within the municipality on issues related to integration, education, labor market, and skills supply. Tasks during the project will include establishing and developing close cooperation with employers/workplaces/schools and educational actors in preparation for participants to make study visits, start studying, or do internships at various workplaces.

You will provide support to both workplaces and participants before and during any internship periods to contribute to long-term sustainability. You will assist/support individuals with contacts with other authorities, study and career counselors, etc., as needed. This includes both the project's participants and other participants in the Employment Unit's activities. Work with participants will occur both individually and in groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in motivational, pedagogical, and/or coaching work. You likely have a documented higher education degree in working with people, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. You need to have good knowledge of the labor market in Oskarshamn, the surrounding area, and in Sweden, and it is advantageous if you have training in MI and/or solution-focused approaches as well as low-arousal responses.

To thrive as a project employee with us, you need to be structured, self-driven, and service- and quality-conscious. Furthermore, you should find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and partners, both internally and externally, being responsive, flexible, and able to resolve any issues constructively.

This also requires:

• Good collaboration skills with colleagues/partners and employers/workplaces
• Good ability to independently plan and structure as well as being proactive and flexible in your work
• You are relationship-building and have good communication skills with a pedagogical ability that can inspire others

You need to be engaged and have faith in people's inherent abilities and drive. You should have established contacts and a developed collaborative network in the municipality regarding issues related to integration, education, labor market, and skills supply. It is important that you possess personal qualities suitable for contact-building and coordinating work. You need to be able to lead group activities and participate in the pedagogical work with the participants.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
