As an economist at Riksbyggen, you will work in an advisory role with many customer contacts.

You will work closely with our technical managers and other delivery units to provide long-term management services that create added value for our customers.

With us, you make a difference

You will be the economist for several of our clients, primarily consisting of housing cooperatives, but also commercial property owners and municipalities. You will have significant contact with, among others, the chairs and boards of housing cooperatives.

For our clients, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, budget preparation, financial statements, economic follow-up of operations, loan procurement, financial planning, and presenting budgets and forecasts to the boards. Your work will also involve identifying new needs and developing long-term collaboration with the client.

You will further act as the contact person for boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and others regarding financial issues.

You contribute with your expertise and engagement

You have a degree in economics from a university or equivalent. We see that you have worked with various aspects of finance and have several years of experience in financial reporting/accounting.

We are looking for someone who is interested in customer contacts and has the ability to see and meet customer needs while acting professionally. You have the ability to create an open and trusting dialogue and foster good collaboration both internally and externally. Furthermore, it is important that you can take a broader perspective and work towards long-term sustainable strategies for the client's financial management. You need to be structured and self-driven.

The position is a permanent role and requires a B driver's license. The role includes some evening meetings. The position is based in Västervik, but work may occur throughout the entire market area.
