Are you looking for a service-oriented and varied part-time job where you get to meet and help people every day? We are now looking for two municipal guides who are passionate about good service and customer interaction and preferably have experience from similar work.

We are a dedicated team within the Contact unit, part of the HR and Communication department, working together with all 3,100 municipal employees for the best of the municipality based on the vision "Quality of Life Every Day"!

Your Responsibilities

As a municipal guide in our Contact Center, you are the first point of contact for residents, businesses, and visitors. Here, you work with a holistic view where your focus is to be patient, accommodating, and provide a high level of service to ensure a pleasant interaction. You need to be meticulous, factual, and able to remain calm in stressful situations. Your tasks include handling incoming calls, advanced administrative tasks, social media, and visits.

You will have the opportunity to develop, inform, and guide citizens in the municipality's services.

Your tasks include:

  • Being the first contact for residents, visitors, and entrepreneurs
  • Welcoming visitors at our reception.
  • Assisting, answering, and transferring calls in the switchboard.
  • Providing service and guidance to the municipality's residents and businesses.
  • Managing emails and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborating with various departments within the municipality to provide accurate information.

The position is a part-time employment governed by the needs of the operation.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and experience in similar work. It is an advantage if you have completed or are undergoing training in administration, reception, or case management. Furthermore, you must have good experience working with digital tools and IT-based systems.

You have a good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish and English, and if you speak additional languages, that is a plus.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in telephony, reception, and case management.
  • Can manage social media.
  • Is meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoys customer contact.
  • Has good collaboration skills while being self-driven and taking initiative
  • Has excellent communication skills and can handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Is responsible, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is resourceful and has a good ability to solve unforeseen tasks
  • Enjoys working agile and in teams.
