There are four special housing facilities in the municipality; Jonasgården in Bjärred and Strandängen, Vega, and Orion in Lomma. Approximately 150 residents receive daily support within the special housing where we offer care and assistance. In our facilities, there are departments for both somatic care and dementia, where tenants with special needs reside.

The home care services are divided into the units City and Hamnen in Lomma, as well as Centrum and Omkretsen in Bjärred. Home care is responsible for care and assistance to clients living in their own homes. You will work from the home care premises and primarily travel by bicycle, and sometimes by car.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for you who are a nursing assistant, care assistant, or on your way to becoming one! We are also looking for those who are curious about working in a caring profession and have experience from other jobs where you are used to working with service and meeting people. The work is largely about creating security. In elderly care, you will work with personal care tasks, medical tasks, documentation, and follow-up. Some practical service tasks may also occur.

The job responsibilities are largely the same whether you want to work in home care or special housing. For those who thrive on taking a lot of personal responsibility and being more independent in their work, home care may suit you better, while those who want to work in a team in a physical location may find special housing more suitable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you? Do you enjoy working with people, especially the elderly? Do you easily understand and care for others? Are you used to and enjoy working together with others? Are you attentive to how others feel? Are you good at communicating and listening to others and meeting people in a pleasant way? Are you meticulous? Then you are the one we are looking for!

It is advantageous if you have education or experience in healthcare, but we also welcome those with other education or experience. It is also a plus if you are accustomed to working with digital tools. In home care, you will primarily move around by bicycle; in some units, a driver's license is also required.

OTHER

To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old. You also need to have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both written and spoken.
