The Adult Psychiatry Day Care Trelleborg is part of the Adult Psychiatry Malmö - Trelleborg operational area. The position is located in Trelleborg, but our catchment area includes Malmö, Trelleborg, Vellinge, and Svedala. The day care is a complement to other units within the operational area, and the mission consists of providing patients with psychiatric care primarily through psychoeducation in groups with evidence-based content. Patients with more complex needs participate in a behavioral activation group one to five days a week to break isolation, create structure in daily life, and increase the ability for self-care and recovery.

Our team consists of nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, patient supporters, and medical secretaries. We have close collaboration with the Adult Psychiatry Clinics in Malmö - Trelleborg. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The nurse's role includes initiating and leading educational efforts and being responsible for development work within the day care's mission. Your main task is to be a group leader in psychoeducation for anxiety, sleep, depression, and ADHD, as well as in the behavioral activation group. Behavioral activation includes self-care, physical exercise, and recovery. The work also includes case management for patients in behavioral activation, documentation in the Melior journal system, participation in treatment conferences, and referral distribution, as well as supervision of students.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with knowledgeable colleagues and good cohesion. The work is varied, and you will influence the development towards the future of psychiatry. You will also receive regular supervision and good opportunities for training and competency-enhancing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare and have experience in psychiatric care. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. If you are familiar with our existing IT system, such as Melior, it is an advantage.

As a person, you are confident with good initiative and are flexible and open to change. You work independently as well as in a team and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you have a good ethical approach and professional demeanor towards both patients and colleagues, contributing to an open and accepting work climate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
