About the position Villa Matteo is a residential treatment center located about 30 km north of Uppsala, secluded in a two-story villa. Our operations cater to boys aged 12–15 years involved in criminal activities. We offer a safe, structured, and predictable environment where individualized treatment is the focus. We work in teams with contact persons/therapists and psychologists/therapists to meet each young person's needs in a professional and empathetic manner. Our treatment work is based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ART (Aggression Replacement Training), and the B12 criminality program. The goal is to create long-term change through relational work and clear structure.
As a treatment educator at Villa Matteo, you will primarily work with: Treatment interventions based on the organization's methods
Documentation of interventions and events Contact with social services, schools, and other partners Creating a sense of security in everyday life Daily chores and environmental work together with the youth
Who are you? We are looking for someone who is committed, structured, and relationship-oriented. You have a professional approach, are attentive, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You see opportunities even in challenging situations and have a genuine interest in working with young people in need of support.
We are looking for someone who: Is an educated social worker, behavioral scientist, social educator, treatment educator, or has equivalent education at the post-secondary level Has experience working with children and youth in treatment or social work
Has good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
It is advantageous if you have: Experience working with norm-breaking youth or criminality
Knowledge of CBT, ART, MI, or other evidence-based methods Experience in documentation in social services
Employment rate and working hours: 100%. The position is part of a rotating schedule with day, evening, and weekend work. Salary: According to agreement, with a collective agreement. Start date: According to agreement. Other: A B driver's license (manual) is required
