The street department has about 30 employees and is responsible for roads and streets, snow removal, ice prevention, outdoor environments and parks, waste management, water and sewage, vehicles and machinery, and more. With us, you can make a difference!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a curious problem solver? Then you should apply for the position of Water and Sewage Technician with us. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in leak detection and extraneous water. You will work in a small team led by the Water Coordinator and the Street/Water Supervisor. In addition to working with leak detection and extraneous water, you may also work with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's pipeline network and smaller waterworks, replacement of water meters, and management of control systems and operational systems. You will also participate in both larger and smaller projects involving water and sewage, streets, and other infrastructure.

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education and work experience in the water and sewage field and leak detection. You should have good general computer skills and a valid B driver's license. It is advantageous if you have completed the Swedish Water diploma training and food hygiene related to water and sewage work.
