In Kristinehamn, the workforce is divided into two departments, the engineering team and the service team. The role of hydraulic engineer is part of the engineering team, which consists of seven other employees. The assignments at Voith are project-based and can vary in duration but often last around 3 years. Here, you will be involved in several projects simultaneously and also support the service organization with your expertise in more rapid interventions. You will also become one of the key persons in the commissioning at the customer's site, which involves some travel, mainly within Scandinavia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role of hydraulic engineer at Voith is broad and varied, but your main responsibilities will be to:

Size hydraulic units for water turbines
Prepare technical documentation, such as tender documentation, reports, or manuals for customers
Participate in commissioning on-site and be responsible for the commissioning of Voith's delivery
Support the service organization with expertise in hydraulics

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has experience working with hydraulics at an engineering level
Is fluent in Swedish and English as these languages are used in daily work
Has a B driver's license
Has the willingness and ability to travel regularly for work, mainly within Scandinavia. Overall, this involves about 6-8 weeks of travel time throughout the year
Is comfortable writing technical reports and documents in a well-formulated manner

Experience with hydraulics in hydropower is an advantage for this position.
