Our property portfolio in Karlstad is growing rapidly! With 450 new apartments in the emerging district of Tullholmsviken, we now need to strengthen our team. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated and service-oriented property management assistant for a one-year temporary position.

So, what is property management really about? Well, broadly speaking, it comes down to two things: people and buildings. In that order. Therefore, we are looking for colleagues who are genuinely interested in the real estate industry and who enjoy building relationships and taking care of and developing our buildings.

Generally, the workday involves actively assisting the property manager and the business area manager in their tasks. This includes, for example, inspecting and renting apartments, conducting rounds, managing invoices, accounts receivable, and collections, as well as other administration. We are therefore looking for a person who possesses structure and takes pride in their work, as we value order and tidiness.

Every deal counts. As a colleague with us, you are expected to enjoy making deals. For us, it is about feeling a responsibility for how things go for Balder and our tenants. You do not act selfishly, but for the benefit of the business. An important foundation for this is understanding the business, sales, and economics, being creative and seeing business opportunities, and also having a professional demeanor.

You need to like people, as a large part of the job involves communication and relationship-building with tenants, contractors, and the team. If you also have an understanding of how a building is constructed and functions, you will almost tick off the entire checklist. In this role, you have the opportunity to influence our work and improve our tenants' homes and offer customers quality of life. It is a responsible but very enjoyable task!
