Your Role

In Karlstad, we are around 50 consultants with a wide range of competencies – we are our customers' strongest partner in product development. A large part of the office consists of the mechanics department, which has well-experienced employees delivering advanced technical solutions to customers through consulting and service deliveries. We see and support each other and are keen to actively work with a high level of job satisfaction. You will have the chance to become part of a strong team with a broad network of experienced colleagues in product development and mechanical design. We are looking for several mechanical designers who are curious and constantly want to develop new products. We work both on assignments at our customers' sites and drive several internal projects. Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone with experience in advanced designs. You are self-driven and take great responsibility, with a high level of responsiveness. Problem-solving is, of course, a central part of your everyday life as a designer.

To meet the expectations in your role as a mechanical designer, we see that:

• You are a civil or university engineer in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
• You have at least 5 years of experience in the field
• You have a B driver's license and access to a car
• You can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written

We expect you to master SolidWorks, CATIA, and/or Creo at a senior level and have been responsible for larger parts of the designs you have been involved in. Experience with CE marking and machine safety is a merit.
