AkzoNobel Adhesives has been manufacturing wood adhesives and resin systems in Kristinehamn since 1962. The products are used in the production of furniture, carpentry, flooring, and load-bearing structures. AkzoNobel Adhesives is primarily a production facility where our employees have various roles such as process operators, logistics and service operators, as well as a range of support functions within R&D, engineering, quality, and customer service. From the factory in Kristinehamn, large volumes of wood adhesives and resins are delivered to customers around the world.

What will you be working on?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership with long-term development work. You will hold a central position in our production operations and lead a team of three electrical and automation electricians. At the same time, you will play a key role in the continued development of our electrical maintenance, with good opportunities to influence technical solutions, drive improvement initiatives, and participate in investment projects. We are at a stage where our systems are being modernized and investments are being made in future-proof solutions in electricity and automation – a development you will help shape.
You will, among other things:
• Ensure that electrical maintenance is carried out according to laws and standards
• Lead and distribute work within electrical and automation • Act as a technical expert in high and low voltage work
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and be responsible for spare parts and materials
• Work closely with production and other departments
• Participate in projects, risk analyses, and change work
• Create good collaborations with suppliers and contractors
• Contribute to raising the standard of electrical safety and maintenance at the site
The position is a permanent employment located in Kristinehamn. You will report to the Engineering Manager. On-call duty may occur.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has general authorization for electrical installations and several years of experience in industrial electrical work, with a particular focus on low voltage systems. You have a strong safety mindset, good technical understanding, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and make decisions. You have likely held a leading role in electrical work, such as a leading electrician, team leader, or similar, and are now ready to step into a managerial position – or you already have experience with personnel responsibility. Regardless, we see that you have the desire to develop both people and technology.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
• General authorization for electrical installations
• Experience in industrial electrical work • Knowledge and practical experience of low voltage systems
• Previous experience in work leadership, team responsibility, or personnel responsibility
• Understanding of electrical safety, regulations, and structured maintenance work
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
• Experience working with high voltage • Knowledge of AutoCAD
