ABOUT THE POSITION

As a calculation engineer at Cyient, you will handle advanced technical calculations in projects that vary in both scope and content. You will work with one or more analysis areas, such as stress analysis, deformation, fatigue, sizing, and strength calculations of products or structures. The work takes place in varying projects where you are expected to work independently, but often in teams with others, close to your customers. This creates conditions for internal development and growth, including knowledge sharing throughout the organization both nationally and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities

In the role of calculation engineer, you will work with:

Advanced technical analyses, including FEM/FEA analyses, and contribute to the development of technical solutions and optimization of design
Conducting pipe calculations and tank calculations in local and global projects

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field
Has at least 3 years of experience in technical calculations and analyses
Is an experienced user of Ansys, Altair HyperWorks, Abaqus, Rohr2, Visual Vessel Design or similar
Has experience with European industrial standards and regulations such as Eurocodes, the Machinery Directive, and PED
Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have:

Experience with 3D design tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, NX or similar
