Are you an experienced accountant looking to help build a new function within a growing company? At Professionals Nord, we are now seeking a self-driven and analytical accountant for direct employment with our client. Here you will play a key role in the finance department with great opportunities to influence and develop!

About the role

In this role, you will work broadly across all areas of the finance function, from ongoing bookkeeping to reporting and strategic improvement projects. The company is in an expansion phase and has recently chosen to consolidate accounting internally, giving you a unique opportunity to shape and develop work methods and routines. Your main tasks include, among others:

• Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Payroll and tax declarations
• Year-end closing and annual reports for the group
• Advisory and reporting
• Contact with auditors
• Participate in process and routine development as well as digitalization initiatives

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in qualified accounting work, preferably from a broad role where you have worked with everything from accounts receivable to year-end closing and reporting. You are meticulous, structured, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can improve and develop processes. Working independently comes naturally to you, but you also have good collaboration skills and enjoy supporting colleagues within the organization.

It is advantageous if you have experience in finance related to real estate or knowledge in project accounting, especially related to the Energy Agency, but this is not a requirement for the position.
