Pajala Municipality is looking for interns

Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. Day and night, year-round, we work in the service of the community on behalf of the citizens. RESPONSIBILITIES

Pajala Municipality offers you, as a student at a university, a paid internship during the summer period from June to August. We have a wide range of operations and can offer internships in areas such as: Construction and Environment (various tasks), HR (communication, staffing), the Leisure Department, and the Education Administration (after-school care and cultural school have some activities during the summer). We have many different tasks of varying difficulty to offer. It all depends on what you are studying, your previous experiences, and how far you have progressed in your ongoing education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You must be enrolled in a program at a university and have at least one semester left to study after the summer.
• You must have a connection to Pajala Municipality so you can arrange your own accommodation during the period.

You need to specify:

• what education you are pursuing and which semester you are in
• which area you are interested in doing an internship in
• which weeks you would prefer to work. The exact arrangement of your five weeks during the period from June to August will be agreed upon with the relevant manager.

Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is advantageous if you have knowledge of either or both of these languages.
