Position Offers

The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking a Team Leader/Maintenance Leader for our Personal Equipment section. The section manages materials such as boots, uniform systems, and ballistic protective equipment. We are in the midst of an exciting journey where we are growing and need more personnel. Therefore, we are now looking for reinforcement to help us optimize and coordinate the Armed Forces' material supply and ensure the availability of materials at our units. About the Unit

TVK Log operates at a central level and is an important part of logistics management in the Armed Forces. We are responsible for ensuring that logistics materials are available and meet the needs of the units. Two success factors in our missions are collaboration and expert competence.

The unit is divided into five departments and currently consists of about 100 employees, mainly civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is located in Boden, but we have operations in several locations in Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of team leader, you will lead and coordinate the maintenance of materials within your area, which includes planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting. Maintenance refers to maintaining material availability within the authority by ensuring that materials are usable based on the right quantity, location, and function.

In this role, you will exercise some work management of tasks within the section. You will work with technical design, manage technical requirements, and handle finances. You have a coordination responsibility and collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders. You will work with environmental monitoring and contribute to the Armed Forces' development in the material area.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • University or college degree with an engineering focus or equivalent technical competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Documented experience in a supervisory position or project management
  • Documented experience in production planning/management within technical or logistics processes
  • Driving license B.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you have very good collaborative skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative, pedagogical, and skilled at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. You will have significant personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

  • Documented experience in technical work, requirement specification, technical design, configuration, and maintenance solutions
  • Documented knowledge and experience regarding personal equipment and its technical solutions.

Other

The employment constitutes a civilian permanent position full-time. A six-month probationary period may apply for those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Boden or Arboga

Travel in the service may occur.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
