Analysis, strategic management support, and development work

In your role as a controller within Försäkringskassan, you are responsible for ensuring that area managers and unit managers have access to the support needed to lead and manage the operations. The role of the controller also includes managing both operations and finances and resources. This means that you are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of production flows, operational results, and financial results within your area of responsibility.

You provide strategic support for the area. At Försäkringskassan, we actively work with continuous improvements. You participate in or lead relevant information sessions in the area. Your work also includes preparing documentation for follow-up, and you contribute to the development work within the management group at the area level and the controller network that exists in the area of operations. As an employee at Försäkringskassan, you have a high awareness of security since the agency comes into contact with confidential information.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• has specialist competence and expertise in finance and operational management
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results

• has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working method.

It is meritorious if you

• have experience working as a controller at Försäkringskassan or within a larger authority
• have knowledge of statistical methods for handling data sets
• have experience using statistical production programs in previous work
• can manage IT-based information sources and extract the essential from them
• have experience working with and analyzing data sets
• have experience communicating and sharing information in groups, e.g., projects/teams.

Permanent position, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
