The Tenants' Association is a democratic membership organization that works to ensure everyone has the right to a good home at a reasonable cost. The Norrland region includes the counties of Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland and has over 45,000 member households, 40 employees, and 7 offices.

We are now looking for a lawyer who wants to help us achieve our goals and visions for good housing. The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement at our office in Luleå or Umeå. We apply a 6-month probationary period.

About the assignment

As a lawyer in the Norrland region, you should have a well-developed ability to collaborate and engage with people in a positive manner. You should have the courage to stand up for those you represent and easily build trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide rental legal services and advice to members, elected representatives, and employees
• Be responsible for and handle qualified legal matters
• Conduct inspections of apartments
• Represent members in rental boards and general courts
• Contact landlords to resolve disputes

We are looking for someone who has

• Law degree (Jur. kand.) or equivalent education
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license and access to a personal car for work
