At NOBA, we are at the forefront of automated credit decisions and use a flexible and scalable platform to streamline credit assessments for our various lending products. Join our Credit Risk Engine team and collaborate with credit specialists and analysts to drive innovation in credit risk management.

About the role: As a developer of our credit decision system, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our credit decision platform. You will participate in both daily implementation of changes to manage credit risk and drive sales, as well as contribute to long-term strategic goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of credit risk and automated decision systems. Main tasks:

  • Develop and integrate Python components into S1.
  • Implement credit rules in the decision system StrategyOne (S1) as needed based on requirements from credit specialists.
  • Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve various technical challenges related to the decision system.
  • Run and analyze simulations to optimize credit strategies.
  • Assist the team with investigation and resolution of issues and bugs in the systems.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an education in quantitative subjects (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar) is required.
  • Basic SQL database knowledge.
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently.
  • Knowledge of a programming language: Python is preferred, but it is possible for the right person to learn on the job if they are skilled in another language.

We see it as a positive if you:

  • Have experience in data analysis
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in development with Python.
  • Understand the functions and limitations of no-code or low-code systems such as StrategyOne, Provenir, Salesforce, etc.
