Receptionist at Scandic Karlskrona
Scandic Karlskrona is located right by the water with a fantastic view of the archipelago. At the same time, the hotel is centrally located with proximity to most of what Karlskrona has to offer. The hotel opened in 2010, and this summer we welcome our guests to a newly renovated and expanded hotel with a total of 255 rooms, 9 meeting rooms, a rooftop bar, wellness with sauna and pool, restaurant, bar, and outdoor seating.

We are now looking for Receptionists for Scandic Karlskrona.

What does the role entail?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web who ensures that the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety work, and sales tasks.
The work at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and safety. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit into the role, we believe you have a well-developed social ability and can handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with computers as a tool.
Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
