The specialized child and adolescent psychiatry in Blekinge County consists of outpatient clinics in Karlshamn and Karlskrona, with intermediate care available at each clinic.

A shared acute/care department is located in Karlskrona.

At the clinic in Karlskrona, several different professions work together with a common goal of providing our patients with the best possible care. We are a wonderful team with good collaboration and a positive atmosphere in the workplace.

This autumn, we have started up in our new and more suitable premises on Trossö. This marks a fresh start for the entire operation, both in terms of facilities and in our efforts to implement new working methods.

About the Job

We are looking for a medical secretary for the clinic in Karlskrona. We can offer you a stimulating and varied job where you will work with everything from dictation to guiding patients correctly over the phone.

In addition to the above, you will also have extra assignments that involve monitoring availability, coordinating overarching journal system issues, and other areas may arise.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Medical Secretary degree or equivalent, with good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology. You should be able to express yourself easily both in writing and verbally, and be able to work both independently and in a team. You are someone who enjoys providing good service and has the ability to plan and prioritize in daily work. You are also outgoing and meticulous with a good sense of service, engagement, collaboration skills, and continuity. Experience with the NCS Cross healthcare system is an advantage, as is previous work as a medical secretary.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We apply ongoing selection. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in emergency positions. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Candidates who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
