Region Joint Primary Care in the Near Care area consists of Palliative Medicine, Geriatric Department 36, Doctor's Car, and Wound Center.

Department 36 is a geriatric inpatient care department where we work in a multiprofessional team with a focus on the patient. A holistic view and good treatment are important in our work with our sick elderly.

The mission of the palliative medicine section is directed towards all patients in need of specialized palliative care. We work from a person-centered approach. The goal is for the patient to be able to be cared for at home as much as possible despite complex medical conditions.

About the Job

The secretarial group within Region Joint Primary Care currently consists of three secretaries working in different units, and there is also a secretary who works specifically with the doctor's car.

You will work closely with other medical secretaries across the clinic with primary responsibility for one of the units.

We offer an exciting job together with colleagues in a good work environment and good working hours. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, with some weekends possible. You will be based in Karlskrona with the possibility of some remote work, provided it works within the organization. There is also a wellness allowance and free access to the gym.

As a medical secretary, you have an important and central role and will work closely with a team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, paramedics, and social workers where good collaboration is combined with independent tasks.

The job offers stimulating and varied work with standard tasks as a medical secretary combined with administrative tasks such as registration in various quality registers and producing statistics for the clinic.

You will also have patient contact as your tasks will involve being available to receive phone calls. You are an important function in the contact with patients, other clinics, and healthcare providers as you are often the one who takes incoming calls when the team works outside the reception. Your contribution is an important part of the daily work!

About You

You who are applying are a trained medical secretary or doctor's secretary with good knowledge of the Swedish language, medical terminology, and preferably English. Experience working as a medical secretary and experience with the healthcare systems System Cross and Cosmic is an advantage. In November, the Journal System Cosmic will be implemented in Region Blekinge.

Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and appreciate varied tasks. You have a positive attitude and contribute to a good work environment.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
