JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a professional/employee guardian or administrator (representative), you will play a key role in supporting individuals who need help managing their daily lives. Your work includes:

• Monitoring the principal's rights, managing property, and ensuring personal needs according to the court's decision, as well as providing professional support in financial, legal, and social matters.
• Representing the principal in contacts with authorities.
• Working purposefully to increase the principal's quality of life and ensuring the principal's best interests.
• Documenting and reporting financial transactions.
• Fulfilling reporting obligations according to applicable regulations.

As an employed representative, you will be personally appointed by the court or the supervisory authority in your assignments. This entails a special responsibility where you, as a representative, act in the principal's interest and are personally responsible for your assignments according to applicable legislation.

You always work with the principal's needs in focus and collaborate with various professional networks to ensure the best possible support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and has a natural ability to build trust and good relationships. Your commitment and professional demeanor allow you to meet people with respect and empathy. You are welcoming in your approach and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere, both for principals and colleagues.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous, with the ability to keep track of details while having an overview of the whole. You are flexible and can adapt to changes in the work. Your administrative and organizational skills help you manage varying tasks effectively. Additionally, you express yourself clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

You have good computer skills, are well acquainted with the Office suite, and hold a driver's license.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role of professional representative, we are looking for someone with a relevant educational background and experience that provides the right conditions to meet the job responsibilities. Your education, combined with a good understanding of law, economics, and the support systems in society, gives you a solid foundation to stand on in this meaningful work.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in behavioral science, economics, law, or other equivalent qualifications that can be assessed as relevant for the position.
• Experience in social work, care, or authority operations is an advantage, as well as previous experience in guardianship or administration.
• Knowledge of the support systems in society and the legislation governing the operations.
• Good administrative and financial skills, as a large part of the work involves managing and reporting the principal's finances, creating structure, and maintaining high quality in documentation and reporting.

In addition to this, it is important that you have a willingness to continuously develop your skills and an ability to adapt to changing conditions. Being a representative means working closely with people in often complex situations -- therefore, a combination of expertise and personal commitment is crucial for success in the role.
