About the Job

We are now looking for a business developer with a focus on logistics, primarily based in Karlskrona. The Development Support Department belongs to the base unit for management and operational support. The Development Support Department consists of three business developers, an environmental engineer, an administrative secretary, and a department manager who is also the operations manager.

Development Support provides assistance to managers in operational development projects and change work and has an advisory and supportive role in producing decision-making materials. We work with sustainability and quality and contribute with expertise in process orientation and logistics.

The overarching role is to contribute to the operational development of region service and to work in assignments and projects for a holistic view and efficiency in workflows. The role is an important part of the quality assurance of the region service management system. We have the entire Region Blekinge as our workplace, and longer trips within the service may occur.

The role of business developer focuses on logistics and supports the line and process organization’s work with development, change, and improvement efforts by coordinating and leading assigned areas of responsibility and tasks while being advisory. Monitoring the external environment is an important part of the work. Initially, the role will have a strong focus on logistics flows related to the new service building that is planned.

Responsibilities and authorities vary and will be specified in assignment directives as needed. Assignments may occur within all region service areas such as real estate, catering, cleaning, and logistics. It is an exciting and developing role where no day is the same.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education or other post-secondary education and skills that the employer deems equivalent, as well as education/experience in the logistics field.

The corporate language of Region Blekinge is Swedish, which requires you to express yourself well in both speech and writing. You should have good skills in the Microsoft Office suite.

It is an advantage if you have training or experience in project management, process orientation, and quality work.

The organization of Region Blekinge is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is region service. Here, resources for regional properties, property technology, cleaning, logistics, meal service, central warehouse, and customer service are gathered. The primary mission of region service is to own, manage, and develop Region Blekinge's properties and leased premises. The area also provides and develops service functions in cleaning, meal, material, and textile supply.
