Lyckeby Health Center is one of the region-owned health centers included in Hälsoval Blekinge.

We have approximately 11,500 registered patients of various ages. We are 38 employees in different professions working together. We prioritize the work environment and collaboration to ensure everyone enjoys their job. We believe it is important for private life and work to go hand in hand. The health center is conveniently located near bus services for good commuting opportunities. We are an environmentally certified health center.

Östra Närvården includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, wound centers, and rehabilitation centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patients' needs are at the center.

About the Job

We are now looking for a positive and driven medical secretary. As a medical secretary, you have an important and central role at the health center. The work is varied and includes: healthcare documentation, printing of medical records, reception work, certificates, referrals, and letters after dictation. You will also provide administrative support for all staff categories working at the health center.

About You

You should be a trained medical secretary or doctor’s secretary and have good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology. You are meticulous, can organize and prioritize your work effectively, and are responsive to contributing to a positive atmosphere in the workgroup. Training in disease classification is advantageous. As a person, you enjoy varied tasks, are flexible, and open to changes and development. You find it easy to collaborate and are not afraid to take your own initiatives. Experience with the NCS Cross medical record system is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The position is a temporary contract.

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in crisis preparedness. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
