The Service Center is the official entry point to the municipality of Karlshamn, where municipal services are coordinated for the public according to the principle of 'one way in'.
Our service center is characterized by high accessibility, professional reception, and broad competence with the goal of maximizing customer benefit for our citizens and relieving other operations. The service center is organizationally part of the municipal executive administration.

Job Responsibilities
As a municipal guide, you will work with varied tasks and provide good service to our citizens via phone, visits, and email. Your work mainly consists of helping citizens with inquiries by seeking answers and providing information, sometimes under time-pressured conditions. Furthermore, the job includes handling routine and regulation-driven cases, as well as working with registration in various systems.
The work also involves maintaining a good and constructive dialogue with internal operations for the continued development of the municipality's services to citizens.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has experience in citizen or customer service, has experience in administration within the public sector, and knowledge of municipal operations. Experience as a municipal guide, community guide, or similar is an advantage.
You are accustomed to information searching and working in IT-based operational systems. The position requires excellent language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, pedagogical, and has the ability to remain calm even in pressured situations. You have a tolerant attitude towards people and good collaboration skills. You are solution-oriented, proactive, and have the ability to see the bigger picture. You also have good multitasking ability and thrive in a fast-paced environment with development and change.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Temporary employment, full-time, until 2025-10-31 with immediate start.
