About the Job

As a business developer, with a role as project manager, you will have the opportunity to make a difference with us! In the role of project manager, you will be a significant driving force and enabler to succeed with the challenges associated with the digital transition within Health and Medical Care.

The role of project manager is part of Region Blekinge's Collaboration Model for Digitalization. The purpose of the collaboration model is to achieve controlled governance of Region Blekinge's total amount of administrative and development assignments, digitalization, and innovation, where information technology is a part.

The total amount of assignments is managed collectively in a portfolio. The foundation for creating governability with the help of a collaboration model is that there is a clear division that describes what is to be governed and how this is grouped. The division occurs from a business perspective, which means that the objects are formed based on what is done, often described as assignments, processes, and services. The administrative objects are divided into three types of operations; core operations, support operations, and IT operations.

As a project manager, you are responsible for developing proposals for object plans and executing the goals of the object plan within given frameworks in a cost-effective manner. You capture the needs of the business and ensure that the business and IT components are current and relevant. Within the responsibility also lies the approval of deliveries from IT and ensuring that information classification is carried out for all included IT components in the object.

Examples of Work Tasks:

  • Monitor the external environment from a business perspective.
  • Based on direction and conditions for the object at a strategic and tactical level, plan for the object's assignments in the long term.
  • Develop an object plan together with the IT project manager.
  • Prioritize and decide within the framework of the object plan.
  • Coordinate goals, assignments, and activities with other objects, projects, and other parties.
  • In consultation with relevant resource owners, ensure that roles at the operational level within the business-related assignment are staffed.
  • Coordinate and administer ongoing activities within the object and, if necessary, initiate new ones.
  • Lead specialists in the implementation of prioritized assignments and activities.
  • Continuously report status and deviations to the object owner and object steering group.
  • Follow up the outcome of the assignment's business-related costs and report the outcome to the object owner.
  • Prepare decision-making materials for new needs and present cases for the object owner and the object steering group.
  • Lead object management meetings.
  • Set requirements for relevant projects from the object perspective.
  • Establish ongoing object documentation and reporting routines.

Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a state of readiness. Some of our services are classified for security, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
