Teacher SVA - Grades 7-9

Internationella Engelska Skolan Eskilstuna is now seeking a certified teacher in SVA for grades 7-9. The position is a temporary contract starting in August 2025.

You should be positive, collaborative, and ready to join an international team. The position also includes shared mentorship for a class.

Your own teaching as a teacher will be conducted in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak both English and Swedish. This means you should be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.

Qualifications

You have a degree from a teacher education program and a teaching license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability based on our needs and conditions.

Personal Qualifications

You are outgoing, social, and have an easy time getting along with your colleagues. You are also good at prioritizing effectively, feel comfortable working independently, and are not afraid to ask for help when needed. You are meticulous and structured and have a good ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

You are an experienced IT user and quickly adapt to new data systems. Responsibilities:

• Work towards a stimulating classroom environment for effective teaching and learning
• Maintain the school's positive ethos and values, both inside and outside the classroom
• Communicate with guardians about students' development, progress, and achievements
• Maintain good order and discipline among students, in accordance with the school's rules
• Mentorship for students is included in this position.
