Over the past year, we have been working to develop and secure the quality of teaching at the after-school center, and now we are looking for a new employee who wants to join us on this journey.

Stallarholmsskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 330 students and an associated after-school program. The school is located close to nature, with Lake Mälaren just around the corner, between Mariefred and Strängnäs. The school’s surroundings are filled with attractive outdoor environments and historical settings, with proximity to a dedicated school forest. Stallarholmen is a growing community area, where the catchment area is attractive for families with children. We utilize the beautiful surroundings and see the outdoor environment as an asset in our teaching. Teachers are eager to collaborate across grade boundaries and engage in various projects and themes, which fosters enthusiasm, creativity, and promotes lifelong learning among students.

We are looking for someone who wants to create an operation based on situational, experience-based, and group-oriented learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include stimulating students' development and learning, as well as offering students a meaningful leisure time. This is achieved by ensuring that teaching is based on students' needs, interests, and experiences, while also continuously challenging them further by inspiring them to new discoveries. In teaching, students are offered a variety of methods, forms of expression, and learning environments that integrate care and learning.

As a teacher with us, you will also be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the operation based on national goals and guidelines. The position also includes supporting school activities during parts of the morning.

• lead and organize teaching to create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation.
• support the teacher in the pedagogical work conducted in the classroom.

• want to be a co-creator, where your attitude, participation, and engagement make a difference in students' everyday lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• licensed teacher in after-school programs.
• well acquainted with the curriculum for after-school programs.
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• good experience working with ICT in teaching.

As a person, we are looking for someone who is development-oriented, can take initiative, and be a good role model in your pedagogical approach. You have a good ability to create sustainable relationships with students and guardians. You are positive, unpretentious, and solution-focused with a drive forward in your pedagogical role.
