JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in home economics, you will teach students in grades 6-9. The teaching is conducted in small groups, and the role also includes mentorship. With your knowledge and commitment, you provide our students the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in work, economics, consumer choices, initiative, and creativity regarding cooking and other practical work at home. As a teacher, you are creative and adapt your teaching and learning environment to the different levels and needs of the students. Of course, you plan and implement your teaching according to the curriculum, Lgr22.

With us, you will work in a proactive and positive team with high competence and experience. We want you to value supporting each other and sharing knowledge and experiences. Additionally, you create an inclusive environment and good relationships with students, guardians, and the student health team. Together with other staff, you develop the workplace through your good ideas and suggestions for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and the qualifications to teach the relevant subject. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as the ability to use IT tools. Experience working with grades 6-9 is an advantage.

We place great importance on personal qualities and see you as a leader who can adapt your leadership style in the classroom and can plan and follow up on your work. You communicate easily with both adults and children. We believe you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are an engaged employee with good collaboration skills and can build trust and listen to different needs.
