About Campus Oxelösund
Campus is a collective term for all adult education offered in Oxelösund. Here, there is basic and upper secondary adult education, SFI, and Komvux as special education for adults. We also offer vocational training in our own right, maintenance training with further education in operations and maintenance or welding, as well as healthcare and social care. Additionally, we conduct commissioned training as needed.

Our ambition is to be an important and powerful player for Oxelösund and its surroundings, utilizing coordinated resources in shared facilities. We know that education is important, and we want to be at the forefront of development regarding offerings, content, and accessibility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a welding teacher at Campus Oxelösund, you will teach students in our vocational training programs aimed at the industry.

The education aims to provide students with knowledge in industrial production, the ability to perform tasks in mechanical material processing and product manufacturing, and knowledge about systematic work environment management. Students' teacher-led instruction is interspersed with practical periods (APL) in companies, group discussions, study visits, and independent study time.

As a welding teacher, you will work to educate and develop students and guide them on their path to a professional role. All students at Campus Oxelösund have an individual study plan and can adapt their education to their own needs, which you will assist in developing as a welding teacher. You will be an important support for students throughout their schooling. As a welding teacher, you will work alongside other teachers and contribute to the development of industrial education.

We use the platform Läroportalen for our courses.

Interviews and appointments for the position will occur on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for someone who:
• is an IWS-trained welding teacher
• has certification in the welding methods H-LO45 (MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG)
• has authorization for supervising welding tests.
• has good computer skills
• has a valid driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• We prefer candidates with experience in teaching adults.
• Experience in multicultural operations.
• Experience in maintenance.
• Experience in distance education and teaching via Läroportalen.
• Experience in validation
• Experience in gas welding.

We place great importance on your personal suitability. You have a strong commitment to both the students and to driving and developing the operations together with existing staff. You have good collaboration skills and can work flexibly and in a structured manner.

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not needed by already employed staff or that the conditions for recruitment change.
