Welcome to Tomtaklint School, one of the municipality's two secondary schools. Here, you will be part of a staff group with a positive development climate. We have just over 300 students distributed across 12 classes, a well-developed digital learning environment, and we believe in the importance of creating a desire to learn and the conditions for development together. At Tomtaklint School, we work with a “one-to-one” approach, using Chromebooks, and in addition to textbooks, we use Google Classroom as a working tool.

Who Are We Looking For?

• You have a teaching license with qualifications to teach textile crafts in grades 7-9.
• Good knowledge and experience of formative assessment to follow up and evaluate the activities.
• Pedagogical awareness and knowledge to adapt your teaching based on the students you meet.

Your commitment and genuine curiosity for the craft subject inspire both your students and colleagues. As a person, you are unpretentious, willingly share your knowledge, and are open to learning more from others. We see it as natural that you contribute to and are part of the school's systematic quality work.

You are a clear and present leader, both in and out of the classroom. You have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach. By creating a safe foundation, you want to give students the best possible conditions for learning and achieving their knowledge goals.

You care about students feeling involved and understanding the reasons behind the decisions made. Therefore, you involve students so that they have influence over the teaching, always with your leadership as a safe point.

Together with the students, you work to create the climate you want in the classroom. You are attentive, a good listener, and have a positive view of people. You share yourself and strive to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
