Teaching Assistant in Adapted Primary School

We are now looking for a teaching assistant who wants to work in an adapted primary school starting from the autumn term of 2024.

Description of the School

Vegaskolan is located in central Vännäs. The school has about 480 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an adapted primary school up to grade 9. In the adapted primary school, students receive education and instruction tailored to their needs and conditions. Vegaskolan's guiding principles are knowledge, community, and diversity.

Your Responsibilities

You will work as a teaching assistant in the adapted primary school. You will be part of a team with close collaboration with other educators at the school. You are involved and contribute to the development of students and the organization. As a teaching assistant, you support some students in a class in the adapted primary school with their education, social relationships, and care. In the afternoons, you are part of and contribute to the adapted primary school's after-school program.

Qualifications

Educated childcare worker or other educational training deemed suitable for the assignment.
