Yrkesgymnasiet Umeå is primarily seeking a licensed vocational teacher in plumbing subjects; however, those with at least five years of work experience in the plumbing industry are also welcome to apply.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future plumbing installers. More than half of the students' training time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and an advantage in the job market. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher in plumbing subjects or has at least five years of experience in the plumbing industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a valid driver's license and preferably access to a car.
• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in the plumbing industry and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of plumbing installers. A teaching license and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
