Artediskolan 7-9 is a school with approximately 220 students in central Nordmaling. Together with educated colleagues, we work to create the best conditions for students' learning.

Artediskolan 7-9 is a three-parallel upper secondary school with facilities well adapted for teaching. The school is close to sports facilities, community gathering places, libraries, and nature. The Role and Responsibilities

In your role as a subject teacher in music and English, you will work in collaboration with other staff to be responsible for and develop the pedagogical learning. Therefore, we want you to be a driving and inspiring team player who can see how small changes can lead to the development of teaching in the school. We have suitable facilities in the school outside the classrooms and in the classrooms, as well as access to a swimming pool, sports hall, and beautiful forest areas.

Planning time for your role will be scheduled during school hours. Depending on your qualifications and authorization, we will shape the position that best fits your profile during the school day. We are keen to provide you with good conditions to develop the operations. Through systematic quality work, the units within Artediskolan 7-9 create good conditions for all our youth to develop maximally in their learning. Varied working hours with some opportunity to influence the working hours.

With us, you will:

• plan and lead teaching in music and English. In both music and English, there are subject colleagues to collaborate with.
• Follow up, evaluate, and assess students' knowledge and progress.
• The assignment may also include mentorship.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to promote students' development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a primary school teacher's degree for teaching music and English with authorization up to grade 9.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with children and youth of different ages and experience in leading activities such as choirs, planning school graduations, Lucia processions, etc.

We are looking for someone who has a relational approach to their students and has a genuine interest in students' learning. You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure and have good communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You take responsibility and are independent in your work, flexible, and have an interest in developing the team's collective work.
