Description of the Organization

Bygdeå School is a K-6 school divided into lower (grades K-3) and middle school (grades 4-6). You will be part of a team for grades 1-3 with many experienced teachers and a student health team to support daily work.

At the school, we work comprehensively to create safety and learning both in the classroom and during recess. We have access to a recess educator who, together with the students, works to develop recess activities. The recess educator also serves as an additional safety person at the school.

Your Assignment

You will primarily teach in the lower grades. Your task as a primary school teacher is to plan lessons based on the curriculum but also to create a more comprehensive plan together with colleagues. You will individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate, and analyze teaching as well as assess and document students' knowledge development.

You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal fulfillment. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing students and guardians about the student's knowledge development and for having mentoring responsibility. In addition to your role as the responsible teaching teacher, you will also participate in our recess supervision to create a good foundation for building relationships and ensuring students' safety throughout the school day.

Your Competence and Experience

• Teaching certification and qualification for the relevant grades 1-3,
• Valid extract from the criminal record.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in the NPF area and if you have a B driver's license.
