In Lycksele Municipality, there are fourteen preschools spread across both urban and rural areas. Our goal is for each preschool to have significant autonomy and freedom to shape its operations according to its local conditions. Our child and student health services are well-structured and integrated into the operations with special educators and access to speech therapists, counselors, and psychologists.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will have an exciting, developing, fun, and challenging role. You have a pedagogical assignment based on current governing documents and are responsible for ensuring that education is safe, enjoyable, and educational for all children. We value a good collaborative climate between preschool staff, as well as between preschool and guardians. Preschool teachers and childcare workers work together in teams based on various assignments with a holistic view of children, their development, and education.

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You see a future in the preschool in Lycksele and want to create the best conditions for children's development and learning. As a person, you are eager to share new ideas and approaches to develop preschool pedagogy, and you see the workgroup as an asset for exchanging experiences and continued development. In preschool, we have a constantly changing everyday life, which requires you to adapt your work and prioritize according to current conditions.

We believe that it is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have a B driver's license and access to a car, as some of our preschools are located outside central Lycksele. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement. Digital competence is an asset.
