Our recently recruited colleague is going on parental leave, and we are now looking for an engaged substitute who wants to help shape the work over the coming year! As an employee at the Technical and Service Administration, you will have a meaningful job in a broad, socially important operation that affects all residents of Örebro every day!

About the position

The assignment involves providing qualified administrative support to the entire Vehicle Operations. You will play an important role in the management team and report to the Operations Manager. The assignment will be rich in content and interesting, spanning everything from overarching annual processes to operational planning and other administrative support in daily operations. With us, you will become an important cog in our team.

Examples of tasks:

  • prepare materials for meetings and write meeting minutes in the Vehicle management group and other forums within the organization
  • lead, drive, and coordinate various working groups/assignments/smaller projects and investigations
  • draft service documents as well as routines and checklists
  • work with record-keeping and procurement coordination

About the workplace

Within the Vehicle Operations, approximately 35 employees work in three different units focusing on internal services related to the municipality's vehicles and mail handling, as well as providing items such as consumables and other stored materials. Your workplace will be in our new state-of-the-art facilities in Berglunda, where we moved in autumn 2023.

As an employee within the Vehicle Operations at the Technical and Service Administration, you contribute to making everyday life easier for the residents of Örebro. Our mission is to provide a sustainable and safe vehicle fleet, take responsibility for the municipality's mail handling and crisis stock, and continuously work to reduce our climate impact.

Qualifications

As a person, you take the initiative for dialogue and communication where needed and have a good ability to independently plan, organize, and create structure. In your interactions, you are cooperative while also daring to challenge and question old working methods without losing focus on quality and efficiency. You thrive in a role where you help others and are motivated to contribute new perspectives and find new solutions. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to speak and document what the organization requires without hindrance.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • university or college degree of at least 180 credits in administration, economics, public administration, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • good knowledge of Office 365

Meritorious:

  • previous experience of qualified administrative support within public administration
  • experience in quality work such as operational development and follow-up
  • experience in budget work and/or procurement and contract issues

Scope and start date

Employment type: temporary position

Employment rate: 100%

Start date: as soon as possible/according to agreement - until August 14, 2026
